This is another old piece, from around 1995, when I attended UT and in our drawing class we had live models. Everybody thinks it's weird to have naked people posing for an artist but the truth is when you are drawing you forget the person is naked and you are really focused on the different shapes, shadows, lights, and textures.  Charcoal is a fun medium because it is so soft and at the same time can give very dramatic effects.
